Contracts Analyst, Pricing and Procurement (Cambridge)

IEC is seeking to hire an organized, detail-oriented team member as a full-time Contracts Analyst to support our Contracts Pricing and Procurement group. As a Contracts Analyst, you will support a well-established consulting firm’s business development and rate compliance reviews and work on contracting components that overlay business, financial, and legal considerations for economic, environmental, policy, and other projects. Our team utilizes their skill sets to develop price proposals, document procurement actions, and review rate compliance for ongoing projects, often in the context of federal government contracting practices and regulations (e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulations).

This position is a great fit for the candidate willing to learn and accept new challenges on the job. Key skills for the successful candidate include a high level of attention to detail, basic mathematic skills, and the ability to concentrate while accurately carrying out time-sensitive tasks. Applicants should be able to work individually, as well as within a team, and communicate clearly and concisely across multiple levels of the business hierarchy by written and verbal means.

Duties:

Work closely with senior staff to develop price proposal materials.

Communicate clearly with subcontractors to gather information necessary for proposals.

Assemble proper documentation of business development and procurement efforts.

Analyze rate data for compliance with company guidelines

Maintain and update internal tracking systems.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic copies of files and their metadata in IEc’s document management software

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent)

Minimum 1-years’ of experience working in contracts, accounting, grants administration, or a similar position

Basic competency with Microsoft Word and Excel

    Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.

    Review quality of all materials at site and ensure compliance to all project specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain quality of materials.

    Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.

    Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality of all systems.

    Manage to lift of all equipment and handle efficient storage of all hazardous materials and perform quality audits as per required schedule.

    Analyze all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.

    Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities and analyze all processes to ensure all work according to quality requirements.

    Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all processes.

 

Skills

    Must have at least 5 years of QA QC Engineering experience

    Bachelors degree in Engineering

    Road and Infrastructure experience is an advantage
